The construction of 6 netball courts for Nambucca Shire Council has been completed. These courts at Macksville in northern New South Wales were surfaced with the Plexipave system.
Newington College Resurfacing
Court Craft have recently completed resurfacing works at Newington College. The 6 existing championship sized tennis courts were resurfaced with the Plexicushion Prestige system, and another 2 were resurfaced with the Plexipave system. The Plexicushion surfaced courts have a "cushioned acrylic" surface, designed to increase shock absorption in the court itself and reduce player fatigue. The surface is firm and uniform, therefore players are able to play on the surface not in it.

courts for Cooma Monaro Shire Council . The courts will be the new home

a first class facility for the first time. This project had very high
community support and was funded through a partnership between Snowy
Hydro, State government, Local Government and the Netball Association.
The courts are made up of two multi-purpose courts and one straight netball
court.
School Projects
Court Craft has carried out a variety of projects for School recently.
For some example of the projects recently completed please follow the
link below.
North Rocks Public School
In late 2006 Court Craft completed the installation of a new play area
at North Rocks Public School. This work included the installation of
softfall and play equipment. The softfall is a sea and island theme and
contains 3D animals and stepping stones leading to an island. Court Craft
also completed a special needs play area.
Private Residence Court
During 2006 Court Craft took on a number of residential projects. One
of these projects involved extensive earthworks, landscaping, retaining
walls and gardens. This site was on a steep slope and took a lot of careful
work. The results speak for themselves.
Baulkham Hills Shire Netball Association
This complex comprises 33 bitumen based courts. 32 courts were constructed
in 1991 and the 33rd court (No 33) was constructed in 1994. The courts
are constructed on top of the old Kellyville tip. The fill depth ranges
from 0m-15m. The site was a general purpose landfill with all kinds of
waste deposited. Varying rates of differential settlement is occurring
over all courts and will continue into the future. Starting in February
2004, Court Craft was contracted to demolish 7 of these courts and reconstruct.
This process involved deep compaction, import of fill, grading, paving,
new posts and Plexipave surfacing with netball line marking.
Sutherland Shire Council
In 2004 Court Craft completed base repair and a complete Plexipave
resurface of 33 netball courts for Sutherland Shire Council. In 2005
Court Craft completed the surfacing of 12 Plexipave netball courts for
the new Sutherland Council facility in Lucas heights. The surface will
provide a consistent, grippy surface for the area for many years to come.
Installed over a new Asphalt base, the surface has been specially formulated
for netball, and will allow for optimum performance from players who
can feel assured that they will remain sure footed at all times.
Meadowbank Park Netball
Court Craft is in the process of renovating netball courts and surrounding
areas at Meadowbank Park for Ryde City Council. There are 22 acrylic-coated
courts on a black bituminous emulsion base. The courts and surrounding
areas cover approximately 1.38 ha and are exhibiting a number of surface
cracks in addition to general wear. Court Craft is renovating the existing
surface to provide a first-class safe playing surface for netball and
general use.
Kooroora Tennis Club
The Kooroora Tennis Club have recently taken possession of 6 new synthetic
grass tennis courts installed by Court Craft as part of the re-development
of their club in Roseville. Court Craft were chosen only after an exhaustive
selection process to ensure the club not only got the best value for
money, but also a builder that would deliver them a facility of the
highest quality that would last well into the future. The courts have
settled in well, and Court Craft is currently finishing work on the
car park area as an extension of the original contract.
Newington College Reconstruction
Court Craft has recently completed a million dollar re-construction
of the tennis courts at Sydney's Newington College. After servicing the
old courts for a number of years, the school finally gave the go-ahead
for the upgrade which saw the main court block reconfigured from 8
courts to 6 championship size courts, and 2 new recreational courts
built on the other side of the school. The courts are all surfaced
with Plexicushion Grand prix system, which is an internationally approved
surface and ideal for your growing bodies with a special rubber cushioning
layer to protect from jarring. Court Craft undertook a broad spectrum
of work from the construction of large retaining walls through to suspended
concrete slabs, decking, pavilions and of course the court surfacing.
Since completing this construction Court Craft has completed a re-construction
of the junior school playground.
Pennant Hills Hockey
Court Craft has recently completed constructing Sydney's latest hockey
field for the Northern Districts Hockey Association at Pennant Hills
Park. The field was built on a tight budget, but was still able to be
built to international standards with a recognised "wet" field
playing surface, lights and irrigation system. Some 5 years in the planning,
the field features some unique innovations brought about from Court Craft's
experience in full constructions of these types of facilities, and has
saved the association much additional fundraising along the way. The
field was completed in September 2002.
